Inclusivity Poster Campaign - Te Kōrero Tākaro | Stories of Play

One of 7 posters featuring community members from different backgrounds and their common ground.

Te Kōrero Tākaro | Stories of Play Campaign celebrates the diversity of Aotearoa and the opportunity for connection that play and sport create - across culture, faith and generations - between us all.

The community members featured in our Campaigns highlight the points of connection between us all - from personal preferences to shared values - such as a favourite papa tākaro/park, a shared love of team sports or the desire to win!

A collaboration between InCommon and Sport Canterbury, we hope this Campaign encourages viewers to reflect on the value that play and sport bring to our everyday lives and the things we may have in common with someone from a different background. We hope you’re inspired to reach out and find your common ground!

Looking for a fun team-building activity for your team? Try the 18 question quiz created by InCommon and Sport Canterbury for this Campaign featuring questions focused on play and sports - free to download from our resources page!
