Inclusive Aotearoa Collective Tāhono focuses on connecting and empowering communities and community-based action across Aotearoa Te Waipounamu.

Kaupapa/purpose:

Creating and supporting cross-sector community networks that reduce discrimination and strengthen belonging.

Services:

  • Bridging Cultures - held in partnership with marae throughout the country. It is designed to counter discrimination and improve belonging and inclusion for minority groups in Aotearoa. The programme brings diverse communities together to strengthen connections with each other and mana whenua, built on a foundation of tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

  • Te Tiriti o Waitangi workshops - educational and strategic workshops for groups looking to strengthen Te Tiriti understanding and commitment within their workplace or community. 

  • Belonging Online workshops - tailor-made workshops on online harm and its threats to communities and the social fabric of Aotearoa.
